Water article

A flood hit the northeastern coast of Australia on January 10 & 11, 2011. The cities of Warracknabeal, with about 2,500 people,Victoria, and about 180 miles northwest of Melbourne were effected by this tragedy. Like the flood in Nashville last May, it was unexpected and happened just overnight. The rescue divers found a little 8 year old boy washed up in a river. I can not image if that were my son, who was simply playing in the river one raining day and was washed away forever. However, they are not sure if the death of the boy was due to the flood.
20 people lost their lives to the flood, as of January 19 and in 15 evacuation centers there were over 1,300 families that stayed there. The people in this part of Australia lost everything, their houses, churches, schools, work buildings, and shopping centers. Just like we had to last May, they are going to have to rebuild their life, literally.
